Many universities take tobacco money and pharmaceuticals money for research; both are selling products, both could produce biased results. This would also include studies that are done by the ACS, ALA and AHA who receive money from pharmaceuticals companies.

Full disclosure on the financial backing of all studies should be clearly identified.

Studies already reveal these "scans" cause more cancer then they ever detect. This is a joke. Nothing like using a test to check for cancer that CAUSES cancer. But chemo and radiation...the so-called treatments also CAUSE cancer...so why would any test to find it be any different in this messed up system?

Its amazing. Here in Facistchusetts we are required to have health insurance or they take your taxes whether you need health care or not. However, since this law came into effect, the insurance companies pay for less than they used to. Hmm. Makes one wonder, doesn't it?

how about pushing insurance companies to pay for smokers to quit. They won't pay for medications or other treatments like acupuncture, yet they will pay millions when the smoker gets cancer... go figure!
