Report This! It's such a shame about Gary Dourdan. I liked the guy and the character he played in the CSI series.
I always felt he did a very competent and professional job as an actor in that series.
So many fine actors and entertaianers destroyed themselves with alchohol and drugs. John Barrymore,
Errol Flynn,George Sanders,George Peppard, Hank Williams Sr. and William Holden.There are so many.
What is it about the Entertainment Industry that
causes or attracts people that are prone to abuse
themselves in this manner?
Perhaps someone that knows the Industry best, can enlighten those of us on the outside.

Possession is a crime- period! He neds to be sentenced as any one would be regardless of his contract comittments- too bad if he looses his role>
During time behind bars he also needs to go through drug rehab!!

It has absolutely nothing to do with money. The guy is an addict period! The only thing money does is allow addicts access to more drugs. He would be an addict whether he had money or not!

Money is never said to buy happiness but it actually depends on whose hand the money is in. When you have idiot with too much money, they end up over doing it. In the hand of a person who got his head in the right place, money can indeed and do indeed get you happiness. In other words, it depends whose hand the money is in. Not drugs pusher or user
